Romelu Lukaku has been handed his first Premier League start for Everton, after netting on his Toffees debut last week.

The Belgian international, who moved to Merseyside on transfer deadline day, came off the bench to score the winning goal in Everton’s 3-2 win at West Ham last Saturday, before playing the full 90 minutes in his side’s Capital One Cup tie against Fulham.

Roberto Martinez’s side will be looking to continue their unbeaten run at Goodison Park tonight, as the only Premier League side yet to lose a match this term.

The Toffees make two changes from the victory at Upton Park, with Nikica Jelavic and Steven Naismith being replaced by Lukaku and James McCarthy.

For Newcastle meanwhile, striker Papiss Cisse drops to the bench having gone 11 games without a goal and is replaced by Yoan Gouffran.
