Tottenham midfielder Paulinho has revealed that he’s unsettled at White Hart Lane and is uncomfortable with Tim Sherwood’s rotation policy.

The Brazilian, who missed the 4-0 defeat at Liverpool with an eye infection, has struggled to command a regular role in the side under Sherwood despite being one of Spurs’ star performers throughout the season.

Now Paulinho has spoken out at his displeasure of his time on the sidelines.

‘I always want to play,’ said the £17million midfielder.

‘I understand the team rotation because that’s how it works here, but I am not feeling well or comfortable. I want to be present, I want to play.

‘The language is the most complicated thing as I am lazy about studying. I am learning little by little, but I don’t understand everything.

‘The football language is easier, that’s not a problem on the pitch.’
